Custom Color, Your Way

Add a fresh shade, dimensional highlights, a soft ombré or a color refresh to an eligible human-hair wig. Color services are available for qualifying Pretty Pieces by Ki wigs and human-hair wigs purchased elsewhere.

Choose Your Color Service

Single-Process Color — One overall color such as jet black, brunette, burgundy/wine, copper or a similar single-shade result.

Color Refresh — Refreshes an existing compatible shade when a full color change is not needed. Best suited for deposit-only or low-lift refresh work.

Partial Highlights / Face Frame — Focused lightening and dimension through the closure, frontal, face-framing area or selected sections.

Full Highlights / Dimensional Color — Highlights and dimensional placement throughout the full wig.

Ombré / Gradient Color — A blended transition from one tone into another through the lengths and/or ends.

Specialty & Corrective Color

Specialty / Creative Color: Multi-tone designs, calico color, color blocking, detailed panels and other complex custom work require a quote. Specialty color starts at $125 and may increase based on length, technique and complexity.

Color Correction: Correcting or significantly changing existing color requires an assessment and custom quote before service.

Processing Time

Color services may add approximately 1–5 business days depending on the technique and complexity. Specialty and corrective color may require additional time. For customer-supplied wigs, processing begins after the wig is received and inspected.

Sending a Wig From Another Company?

Eligible human-hair wigs from other brands are welcome. Because the original hair source, fiber content, previous chemical processing and color history may be unknown, final color results cannot be guaranteed. A strand test may be required before chemical processing. If the wig is not suitable for the requested color service, you will be contacted before the service is performed.

If an existing wig requires significant cleansing, detangling, repair or restoration before color can be safely completed, additional service may be required.

Please Note

Hand-colored results are unique. Shade, placement and dimension may vary slightly from inspiration photos or previous units. Lightening results depend on the starting color, hair quality and processing history of the wig.
